My approach to chromotherapy uses colored light, symbolic forms, and intuitive energy work to create a beautifully visual, meditative experience designed for slowing down, receiving, and exploring how different colors and patterns feel to you.

No needles.

No complicated instructions.

Just light.

(And quite a lot of pretty.)

Chromotherapy... or color therapy is the practice of intentionally working with different colors of light.

Color is already woven into how we experience the world.

Some colors feel warm and energizing.

Others feel cool and quiet.

Some grab your attention.

Others seem to let you exhale.

In Light Washing™, we get curious about that relationship and bring color into your session as another sensory and energetic tool.

You don't have to know what every color “means.”

You get to notice what it does for you.

Using two precision pen-light torches, I work with a collection of colored filters, symbolic forms, and sacred geometry patterns.

Rather than simply shining one color into the room, I intuitively layer and move light across and around you creating streams, combinations, shapes, and patterns throughout the session.

Hence the name...

Light Washing™.

Think of it as being gently bathed in color and intention.

(Without getting your hair wet. You're welcome.)

This is where things get extra interesting.

Along with color, I incorporate sacred geometry patterns and forms that have carried symbolic and spiritual meaning across cultures and traditions for centuries.

Circles. Spirals. Repeating forms. Symmetry. Patterns.

Humans have been fascinated by them forever.

So rather than telling you exactly what a particular color or symbol must mean, I like to leave a little room for mystery.

What catches your attention?

What feels soothing?

What feels energizing?

What image stays with you?

What makes you think...

“Huh. Why THAT one?”

There's usually something interesting hiding inside curiosity.

Light Washing™ isn't about forcing an outcome.

It's another way to create an experience around presence, sensation, symbolism, intuition, and receiving.

During your session, I may also notice intuitive impressions, colors, words, imagery, symbols, mantras, or other little breadcrumbs that feel meaningful to share.

You may notice things of your own.

Or you may simply lie there thinking...

“This is ridiculously relaxing and pretty.”

Also completely acceptable.

And yes...

I absolutely went there.
