Hi, I'm Jenny Merkey. And yes, I'm keeping my age a secret. A woman has to maintain a little mystery, doesn't she?!
I'm a devoted wife to my incredibly supportive husband, a fiercely loving mama to four remarkable grown humans, and a head-over-heels grandma to three sweet boys.
My heart stays pretty damn full.
And somewhere along the way, I found myself wandering down a mystical little path that would change just about everything.
Did I have any idea where it was taking me?
Not a freaking clue!
But curiosity got the better of me.
And thank goodness it did.
Let's Rewind About Sixteen Years…
I came home from work, walked through the garage door, and saw my son standing there, pale and serious, with that unmistakable Mom, we need to talk look.
He said, "Mom… I can see people. Like after they've passed away. And it's scary."
Well, shit!
Cue my brain immediately flashing to The Sixth Sense while I stood there realizing I was wildly unprepared for this particular parenting moment.
No handbook. No instructions. No chapter titled So Your Kid Can See Dead People. Now What?
Just love, one very deep breath, and a whole lot of questions.
That conversation cracked something open.
What followed was a whirlwind of learning, conversations, appointments with mediums, trial and error, and trying to figure out what the hell we were doing.
Including one particularly memorable medium with voice recorders.
Yeah. That one sent me a little over the edge.
But we kept exploring.
My kids and I learned side by side, figuring out what felt right, what didn't, and what we wanted to understand more deeply.
And for that, I'm forever grateful.
And Then Came Reiki.
One session.
And—holy shit—my life changed.
That was the moment this path stopped being something I was simply curious about and became something I could actually feel!
One question led to another. One class led to the next.
And before I knew it, I was wandering through a world that was mind-bending, heart-opening, sometimes murky, often magical, and absolutely worth exploring.
Was it always graceful?
Oh, hell no.
But it was mine.
And I'm still singing Amazing Grace these days.
Mostly in the shower.
Trust me, my vocal abilities are not among the services I offer.
And... you're welcome!
My son is the real MVP. My daughters are intuitive powerhouses.
Together, we've felt a little like our own superhero squad, navigating the mysterious, the unexpected, and the wonderfully unexplainable with curiosity, courage, and plenty of questions.
And Then… Life Got Very Quiet.
When my son was diagnosed with T/MPAL leukemia, everything changed.
The world we knew rearranged itself in ways I could never have imagined.
Today, he is doing remarkably well, and we are deeply grateful for the extraordinary care, prayers, love, and quiet support that surrounded him and our entire family.
Thank you. Truly.
Time slowed.
Priorities sharpened.
And suddenly, being fully here wasn't just something I talked about.
It was everything.
I stepped back.
Not away from my work, but deeper into what it had been asking of me all along.
And what emerged wasn't some grand reinvention.
It was a refinement.
More You. Less Noise.
I began to understand something more deeply than ever.
Transformation doesn't always need to be chased, forced, fixed, or figured out.
Sometimes we need a beautiful place to land.
A little quiet.
A little curiosity.
Someone willing to sit beside us while we find our way back to ourselves.
And maybe, just maybe, we don't need another person telling us how to become a better version of ourselves.
Seriously. Haven't we done enough of that already?!
That's where my work lives today.
At the crossroads of intuition, energy, ritual, presence, and real life.
Sometimes it's playful and curious.
Sometimes it's soft and grounding.
And sometimes it's deeply reverent, because certain moments deserve nothing less.
I'm not here to tell you who you should become.
I'm here to create space for you to get curious about who you are right now.
What's asking for your attention?
What might be ready to shift?
What feels interesting enough to explore?
And what might happen if you stopped trying so damn hard to figure everything out?
No fixing.
No bypassing.
No pressure to become someone else.
Just space. Curiosity. Compassion. A little magic.

My Mission?
My Mission (aka: Why I'm Here)
It's actually pretty simple… with a little magic swirled in.
I'm here to create spaces where you can soften, get curious, reconnect with yourself, and hear what's calling you forward.
Mind. Body. Heart. Soul.
Not to fix you. Not to hand you a shiny new personality.
Just to help you hear yourself over all that damn noise.
And make a little room for what wants to come next.
How I Roll
I believe some of life's biggest shifts begin with a little curiosity.
So don't expect me to hand you a neatly wrapped box of answers.
Where's the fun in that?!
I'll ask questions. Notice what catches our attention. Explore what's tucked away in the corners. And follow the breadcrumbs right alongside you.
Sometimes we clear. Sometimes we create. Sometimes we simply sit with what is.
And sometimes…
We surprise the hell out of ourselves.
My Magic (Yes, It's a Thing)
I've spent more than 15 years exploring energy work, intuition, healing practices, and the beautifully mysterious ways we humans grow and change.
Along the way, I created my own Reiki modality, Heart Illuminating Reiki™, which came into being on 02/22/2020.
Because apparently the universe appreciates a fabulous launch date.
And who am I to argue?!
Tools for Real Life
I love a little magic.
But I love it even more when you can actually use it.
Inspired by years of working with clients, my own curiosity, and more than a few Divine nudges, I create intuitive, practical tools that invite reflection, ritual, connection, and those delicious little aha! moments.
Not just pretty things to admire.
Little invitations to bring the magic into your actual, everyday life.
And the work keeps evolving.
So do I.
That's kind of the point.
The Journey So Far
This path has taken me through certifications, trainings, unexpected teachers, incredible humans, deep questions, beautiful experiences, and more than a few plot twists.
And believe me, some of those plot twists deserve their own damn book.
Every piece has taught me something.
But perhaps the greatest lesson has been this:
Transformation doesn't require becoming someone else. Sometimes it's simply coming home to more of who you already are.
The Nerdy (But Useful) Stuff
And because apparently curiosity is a full-time personality trait, I've also studied communications, psychology, business, and American Sign Language.
Yep. There's a little nerd tucked underneath all this magic.
Because intuition is beautiful.
But so are good questions, clear communication, understanding people, and knowing how to bring a little magic back down to Earth.
