I am an intuitive Tarot reader, not predictive, I like to be within the magic of what the cards are creating. I ask open ended questions, along with follow up questions. I relish in creating custom spreads for the client. I convey a type of coaching and empowerment to the client while reading the cards. I engage in conversation and ask what it is they might be seeing in the card, and how that makes them feel, or possibly what this brings up for them, or even let’s down for them. I want the client to take with them the wisdom of direction, power, understanding and even a mantra from the cards. I incorporate Reiki, crystals, nature, sacred geometry and so much more into my readings. Lighting a candle, an incense and hold space for the client, myself and Spirit permits a much higher vibrational connection.
After my sacred space is created I then call my soul and energy fragments back to myself and send away anything else, ground my energies into the earth plane on all levels and dimensions, cut any negative cords. I cleanse my intuitive channels, as well as, my healing, transitional and energetic channels. I call upon Spirit and guides, my higher-self and ask to remove any ego during the session. I ask for all my “clairs” to be open and to receive the information for all those involved be for their best and highest good.
I will see myself walking into my channel of Divine light, I take a deep breath, then proceed with the client. I set an intention to fully connect with the cards and the client, to be non-judgmental, and bring the highest vibration and awareness I can to the client and the cards.
A Tarot deck is made up of 78 cards, 22 Major Arcana; representing archetypal symbols of the human journey, Carl Jung named this the “process of individuation” (a process of becoming aware of oneself, of one’s make-up, and the way to discover one’s true, inner self). Also, 56 Minor Arcana which are divided into four suits: wands, cups, swords and pentacles, from the Ace to Ten along with four Court Cards; Page, Knight, Queen and King. Many esoteric traditions have correspondences that are represented in the imagery of the cards, along with, astrology, myths, medieval, Kabbalistic, Egyptian, Buddhist, Hindu, Sufi, Hebrew and Christian. In the readings the Major Arcana show up for major life-changing events having lasting influence. These cards show the structure of human consciousness, bringing the momentous teachings to life lessons. The Minor Arcana show up for the day to day events or situations. The court cards of the suits reflect people, personality traits, environment influences, relating to spirituality or supportive relationships. Tarot helps to unlock the subconscious mind which allows feelings and thoughts to show up in your conscious awareness. Each card expresses a different feature of the Tarot and the workings of it, these cards are speaking to the experience you are having in the moment. The client will ask the questions and intuitively and with intention the cards will be shuffled to best answer and give guidance to the client. The cards can be placed in a spread, a read-as-you-go system, or pulled from the pile. Each position of the card in the spread represents an answer, direction, guidance of a situation, or circumstance. The client and the reader then have a conversation about the cards and their interpretations.
